Pilar Golf fue elegido como Sede del Campeonato Argentino de Profesionales 2002 y 2003. Sede del Abierto de la República 2006 y 2011.

El Potrerillo de Larreta - Alta Gracia, Córdoba, Argentina

El arquitecto Ignacio Zuberbuhler, nieto de Larreta, heredo éstas tierras y en el año 1995, junto con sus hijos, comenzó con un proyecto familiar de un Resort y un Country Club, contando dentro de éste proyecto un campo de golf de 18 hoyos que recorre arroyos y morros, pensado para todo nivel de jugadores.

El campo fue trazado inicialmente por Angel Reartes en conjunto con los Zuberbuhler, quienes luego siguieron con la construcción y fueron asesorados en el diseño de los greens por el Arq. Marcos Capdepont, quien se hospedaba en la casona para realizar los dibujos mientras se construía la cancha.

Se implantaron praderas de tifway en los fairways, contando con un excelente riego por aspersión para ello, los greens son de norma tipo USGA y de césped agrostis de última generación. En diciembre de 1999 se inauguraron los primeros 9 hoyos y el Driving Range, utilizando, provisoriamente la hostería como Club House (actualmente se está trabajando en el proyecto del Club House). Hoy se utiliza el bar del 9, ubicado en el driving, devolviéndole de esta forma su intimidad a la hostería.

Es una característica del campo de golf de El Potrerillo de Larreta el arroyo que entra en juego en 5 de los primeros 9 hoyos, dándole una dificultad muy notable. Los segundos nueve hoyos, en ellos otro arroyo los rodea, pero en éste caso únicamente en tres hoyos entra en juego el mismo, siendo más complicados estos quizá por su longitud.

Otro detalle notable de la cancha es que desde un principio se trató de mantener lo natural del paisaje, de allí que, si bien los hubo, no se notan los grandes movimientos de suelos. En casi todos los hoyos se cuenta con 4 y 5 diferentes tees de salida, de ésta forma logramos equiparar el nivel de juego y sin ésta ventaja, sería casi imposible que los jugadores de alto hándicap pueden disfrutar de esta competitiva cancha.

El campo es de par 72 y 7.163 yds. El club posee carts eléctricos, y carros manuales para el alquiler, driving range y pro-shop.
